After you’ve completed the form, I will reach out to you through your preferred communication platform. From there, we’ll coordinate a consultation. During this consultation, we’ll briefly delve into the concerns you have. At this stage, I’ll encourage you to tap into your instincts and intuition to determine if you feel a therapeutic connection with me. We’ll discuss the outcomes you’re seeking and explore any pertinent details we may need to understand about each other or my approach.
Should both of us agree that collaborating is the right path, I’ll send you a recap of our discussion and arrange a mutually convenient date.

At the start of a session, we’ll take a few minutes to introduce ourselves once more and revisit how I operate. This is an ideal opportunity for you to ask any lingering questions or clarify aspects you’re unsure about. Creating a comfortable atmosphere is paramount, so we’ll ensure practical aspects like seating preferences and addressing formality are in place. Depending on your comfort level, I might inquire about your history with the challenges you’re facing, or I could simply encourage you to narrate your story in your own way. This phase is critical for you to feel that you’ve been able to openly express the concerns that are weighing on you.

Yes, therapy sessions are confidential. I adhere to strict ethical guidelines, and your privacy is a top priority. However, there are legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality, such as situations involving immediate risk of harm to yourself or others. I will discuss these exceptions in our first session.

I employ an integrative humanistic approach to gain an understanding of your life experiences. My specialisation lies in working with clients facing challenges related to childhood trauma, addiction and bereavement. Through my work, I have come to realise that collaborative efforts are the key to instigating meaningful change. Together, we will embark on a transformative journey, exploring the roots of your coping mechanisms and defences, delving into the impact of early life experiences, and uncovering the underlying factors contributing to your feelings of unhappiness, loss, or confusion that have led you to seek therapy.
